Meet Loki, my Golden Mountain Doodle and therapy partner. With his playful disposition, gentle spirit, and love for connection, Loki brings warmth and joy into the therapy space. Whether it’s walks and talks, play, or quiet cuddles, Loki intuitively adapts to the needs of each individual.
In sessions, Loki’s role can shift depending on what’s most supportive for the client.​

Together, Loki and I strive to create a therapeutic environment that feels safe, playful, and deeply connected — a place where healing and growth can naturally unfold.

A Note About Loki’s Schedule
Just like people, therapy animals need time to rest and recharge. Loki enjoys his work and gives his full heart to each session — and that means he also needs regular days off to play, nap, and just be a dog. Because of this, Loki may not be available for every session.

If you’d prefer a dog-free session, that’s absolutely welcome too! Your comfort always comes first, and Animal Assisted Play Therapy is just one of many approaches available. Simply let me know your preference when scheduling or at any point in your work with me.

Animal Assisted Play Therapy
Our work together is guided by the principles of Animal Assisted Play Therapy® (AAPT), a model developed by the International Institute for Animal Assisted Play Therapy®. AAPT emphasizes respectful, reciprocal relationships between humans and animals, where both therapist and animal are active, willing partners in the therapeutic process.
I am Level 1 trained and currently working toward Level 2 certification in Animal Assisted Play Therapy®.

Loki's Credentials
Loki has earned both his AKC Canine Good Citizen and AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen titles, reflecting his calm temperament and reliability in a variety of settings.
